Dr. Palanpurwala founded Pediatric Healthcare of Northwest Houston in 1999 to pursue his passion and to take care of the children of Northwest Houston. He did his residency at University of Illinois. His career concentration of over 14 years in Primary Care Pediatric Medicine earns him a great respect in the Northwest Houston community. He is Board-Certified and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has hospital privileges at Tomball Regional Hospital, Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center, and the Methodist Hospital at Willowbrook. Dr. Palanpurwala has a great understanding of parenting issues and provides family health care solutions.
Dr. Rangan received her medical education from Kilpauk Medical College in India and graduated in 1976. Her love for children leads her to pursue pediatric internship and residency training from Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in New York. Since then she has been practicing Primary Pediatric Medicine. She is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Rangan has been in pediatric medicine since 1981 in Houston and lives with the husband who is a physician. She is a proud mother of twin boys who fill all the joy in her life. She strongly believes in preventive care medicine and is an excellent patient/parent educator. Dr. Rangan has been associated with Pediatric Healthcare of Northwest Houston since 2001.
Haiyen T Le, MD, FAAP graduated from University of Texas Medical School, Houston in 1997. She brings with her a rich experience in Primary Care Pediatric Medicine from her residency at University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Le is a Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She joined Pediatric Healthcare of Northwest Houston, P.A. in 2003 and has seen newborns reaching adolescent stage under her professional medical care. Dr. Le has privileges at Cyfair Hospital and the Methodist Hospital at Willowbrook. She has special interest in newborns, breastfeeding. Dr. Le has 5 children and she is also fluent in Vietnamese.
Dr. Jacob, a medical graduate of 1975 from Christian Medical College in India, completed her residency program at Brooklyn Cumberland Hospital and at St. Louis City Hospital in Primary Care Pediatric Medicine. She is associated with Pediatric Healthcare of Northwest Houston since 2006 and derives pleasure in adding value to the life of children within the Northwest Houston community. She enjoys outdoor sports and exploring natural beauty by traveling extensively.
Dr. Ifeyinwa Christine Edeki, MD FAAP, MT (ASCP) is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine and completed her residency program in General Pediatrics at Texas Children Hospital and Ben Taub General Hospital. Dr. Edeki loves participating in community activities and has visited Botswana, India, and Mexico providing general adult and pediatric medical services and preventive health counseling. Her personal interest is in dermatology and infectious disease, she also enjoys doing short-term missions work in developing nations.
Dr. Kimberly D. Lazarus, M.D., FAAP has been practicing as a Primary Care Pediatrician in Houston area since 2006. She did her undergraduate in Biomedical Science from A&M University and earned her Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine, Houston Texas. Dr. Lazarus loves working with children and enjoys providing advice on preventive medical care and healthy growth plans while interacting with parents.
Afroza Begum, MD, FAAP is a Board Certified Pediatrician and has been practicing in Pediatrics for more than a decade. She is a graduate of Dhaka Medical College, Bangladesh and has completed her residency program in Pediatrics & Medicine from New York Medical College, NY. She also completed her internship in Pediatrics at the Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center. Dr. Begum is associated with Pediatric Healthcare of Northwest Houston, P. A. since 2012. Dr. Begum has affiliations in hospitals in The Woodlands/Conroe area. She keeps herself well-informed with latest knowledge on Healthcare issues and has also been a co-author of number of publications on healthcare topics.
Marcelina Rupley, MD, FAAP is a Board Certified from an American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Rupley completed her residency program in Pediatrics from Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Illinois and has been practicing as Primary Care Pediatrician in Texas State for over 18 years. Dr. Rupley has special admiration for children and has an excellent track record of working in Pediatric clinics around The Woodlands and Conroe area where she has seen newborns reaching their adolescent stage under her Pediatric Care. She strongly believes that preventive medical care is vital for healthy physical growth and protects a child from critical ailments.
Dr Chuy is a medical graduate from the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala in 1992. He completed his residency program at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he also served as Chief Resident and later did a Fellowship in General Academic Pediatrics. He is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is interested in providing the best care for the pediatric population with emphasis on education and preventive care. Dr Chuy is fluent in Spanish.
Valerie K Kuczbel MSN, RN, CPNP did her graduation in 1987 from Lakehead University, Canada. She did her Post Master’s degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas in 1966, where she was also an Assistant Professor. She is Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and has several years professional experience in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Ms. Kuczbel has been associated with Pediatric Healthcare of NW Houston, P.A. since 2006. She promotes Optimal health through education, prevention, immunization, early recognitions & treatment that is best suitable for the child and family. She loves nature and spends her personal time gardening and with her cat. She is an avid book reader.
Ms. Nguyen has been a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 2000, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and a Master of Science in 1999 from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. Her main objective is to provide quality pediatric care with an emphasis on health promotion and education. Ms. Nguyen also does medical missions in underserved countries yearly and enjoys traveling, hiking, and all outdoor activities.
